We Demand Justice.
For Mike Brown.
For Eric Garner.
For Akai Gurley.
For All Those Killed By Racist Killer Cops.

The Millions March NYC coordinators have pulled together a solid team of organizers. We have worked hard to plan a march that unifies us for the day and shows our power. We ask that all those planning Direct Actions please give time and space to this march. If you are planning an action during the march and want to check if you will be putting people in harms way, please contact us at mmdacoordination@riseup.net. This is an anonymous Direct Action Coordinator who will let you know if your action(s) would jeopardize our plans. The information is confidential and will not be shared with the larger organizing body.

In solidarity,

Millions March NYC

Is there a march which is essentially the same but leaves out the whole Mike Brown thing? You know - ahole steals goods, gets into intimidating fight with small shopkeeper and then gets into physical fight with police? Can't really get my moral indignation up about that one. Outcome was likely serious injury at the least.

Garner and Gurley - yes. That's another matter.

You don't bring fists to a gunfight but good grief,
officer Darren did not have to unload on Mike Brown
like he totally lost his mind. The same goes for
Abner Louima and Sean Bell.

It's just ridiculous and it is way past time to take
a stand against that type of police misconduct.
If you're not with us, you are against us period.

Good, don't be marching during work day.

FYI, all these movements like Occupy, this, and that does nothing at the end of the day. Nothing will change because people that are affected the most by these issues do not participate in politics and only vote for poster childs.

They have no representation in government.

Same here. Mike Brown was a thug criminal who deserved what he got. The same cannot be said for Eric Garner and Gurley.
