Garner would still be alive if some incompetent and dangerous police officers hadn't needlessly escalated an encounter with a man committing a non-violent crime, and posing a threat to no one.

I just love this lazy line of thought that's popular these days - it's only a minor offense so look the other way! Hey who cares about the law, he's just a jolly guy let's pretend he's not selling cigarettes to kids.

I mean seriously, I hope you don't have kids because that's one hell of an example to be setting. The guy was a repeat offender, and he was ordered by police not to resist arrest. He shouldn't have been put into a choke hold but he definitely should have been tasered and baton'd in the knees

100% - it's in the training manual as an alternative to deadly force when a stronger person is resisting arrest. The perpetrator must be warned, and after resisting handcuffs the officer is permitted to use the baton to subdue the criminal and place him into custody

it's not end thread because you and your ninnies are framing it as a race issue when it's a policing of petty criminals issue.

I hope you're happy that you now have 2 dead cops's blood on your hands

Who cares about the opinions of people like monday night quarterback? Until they have the balls to start the race war they want to lose, just ignore them.

If that had been done, there'd be no protests concerning Garner because either he wouldn't have been killed by the cops.
