Not any different. I'm pretty indifferent about the NYPD in general, I know many cops are a**holes, and this was long before the Eric Garner incident.

I honestly never had problems with cops. Even if I did, like get caught smoking some heavenly buddha, they just let me go or just laugh it off. Could be because I'm Asian but then again.. I know a couple Asians who aren't lucky as I am.

But it could only be a matter of time.. Really depends on the situation too but as of yet, personally, I don't feel less or more safe. Was just always "eh" about the cops lol

I think you should be worried. When I was on we would take bets at roll call about who could harass the public the most. If you harassed a white male it was worth 5 points. Asians were 7. You got 10 for an Hispanic and 20 for a male black. As a result we hunted male blacks. So even if they were doing nothing we took them in for our points. At the end of the month whoever had the most points got a bottle of JD and a gram of coke. It was such fun. Then if you murdered a black male wholly sh1t you got your name printed on the Hollywood walk of fame! Such fun times!!!

Less safe... Because the media, the protestors, the agitators, and for chistsakes the damn mayor are all telling the cops to DO NOTHING from now, which is exactly what they should be doing.

Then again, I'm not less safe because I carry a gun everywhere I go. Good luck libbies!

@OP - I always felt safe around cops. They're there to protect everyone. It's the ones who have a problem showing ID or resisting arrest that don't feel safe around cops because they're up to no good. I provide my ID whenever asked by police (which is never by the way).

I resist arrest whenever I'm arrested by the police, which is never by the way, so that means I never resist arrest whenever I'm never arrested.
