Good for you. Go put on grey sweat pants and Ugzz - then go walk around East NY and have someone look down on you. Then you'll know what arrest is. That way, you can resist all you want LOL!!!

I'm sure the guy selling Loosie ciggs wasn't resisting arrest either.

I seem to recall that prior to 9/11 one didn't see police or servicemen armed with machine guns outside public transportation turnstiles.

I also recall never seeing an armed USCG vessel escorting the ferries across LI Sound to CT prior to 9/11.

It's unnerving -- no argument there. So was having had a huge terrorist attack in our city. Can we link the actions of a handful of police officers and man who resisted arrest number 31 with safeguards against terrorism? I don't think so.

Lets be honest here. Are cops harassing black people ( even innocent ones) because they are racist and hate black people, or because its the black community that cant control themselves and murder people like you or I change clothes. I know its easy to just blame the white man for all your communities problems, look what that line of thinking has gotten you, welfare, drugs, gangs. Its not the white kids going around trying to become bloods and crips. But dont worry, keep all this up, and eventually the racist white police force is going to retreat and when you call 911 there will be a dead line. Im sure when that happens all the gangbangers will put down their guns and enroll in community college. NYPD has done more for your communities than any of these racial agitators. Im not one of those people who claim white privilige doesnt exist. When officers see white or asian kids smoking pot, they are are more liable to let them go, because again, these kids are not running around in gangs and killing each other in record numbers. But its intellectually lazy to just spout the " cops are racist" propaganda. Guess what, learn to act civilized and police will start treating your communities with more respect. I am speaking as just an average white person. All I want is a better life for my family, I have no bias towards any race, but when one race is out there trying to rob me all the time, thats the kinda thing that makes someone racist.

Yeah you must be pretty average, because you are exaggerating plus denying that racist police exist. it is what it is and if you don't know what it is, you should save your speech.

When was the last time a black person tried to kill you or rob you? I mean really, it seems like you're just making stuff up that you saw on tv or something, so who is making false propaganda here but you?

I grew up in brooklyn I was smart enough to move to Long Island, luckily I havent been robbed since I was in my teens. But i still watch the news and 90% of the robberies and killings are being committed by people of color. I am also smart enough to realize these are sensless crimes of oppurtunity so they can happen to anyone, anywhere. Just because today I am not the one being robbed, doesnt mean that tommorow it wont be me, or my wife, mother etc.... Watch that animal who drop-kicked that lady with her baby recently or the 3 black " youths" who beat up the lady for her bag in crown heights. One day ( soon hopefully) people are going to get fed up with all this crime and take back their streets.

^ You must be brainwashed, because you don't even know me or my situation to assume that I am on welfare, section 8 or taking any handouts at all. I'm pretty sure you are writing plenty of undeserved freebies off every year at tax time, so who is really freeloading and paying for you to be in this country at underpaid people's expense while you get all these unfair privileges just because of a stupid color?

Back to the subject tho: All those corrupt kkk police and judges are past due to get a taste of their own medicine. Now take that back, Mr. america.

If you don't understand what racism is like, you should just shut up, because it sounds like you love it and have nothing against it.

So this is how "average" white people think?

What part of NYC do you live in where these murderous blacks who kill with impunity live?
