The guy with the "Dump DeBlasio" sign walked past my house. I smiled at him and thanked him.

The people of NY elected DeBlasio. It's time for them to own up for their mistakes.

Lol. What mistake did he make? Not blindly support the police. The guy who killed these police officers was not even a New Yorker. He was a known criminal with a history of mental instability from another state. Is DeBlasio responsible for every psycho that commits atrocious act? This was an unfortunate incident, where two innocent police officers were sadly killed. This has nothing to do with the corrupt institution that is the NYPD and its inutcase of a union. It's disgusting how this incident is shaping out to be more about protecting corruption within the NYPD than the lives of the two innocent police officers.

Corruption? How in God's name does this have ANYTHING to do with corruption? This has everything to do with that disgrace of a mayor openly being unsupportive of the fine men and women who protect the city who [unfortunately] elected him.

Do I think he has blood on his hands? No. CNN and MSNBC do. Do I think he encouraged protests that ultimately led to a bigger divide between police officers and civilians? Yes. Absolutely. 110%.

I watched De Blasio's eulogy online and noticed the network didn't show the police reaction, turning their backs.

De Blasio did not stay for the removal of the casket from the church to the hearse, unlike Cuomo and Biden.

How will the mayor deal with this situation he created?

Good for you brother! I was there with you in spirit. Wish I could rep you but the CD police won't allow it.

They were ordered to do so from union reps and their chain of command. Not all or them feel 'betrayed" by the mayor, but they were made to do so or face the repercussions.

This is just another effort to disparage his reputation, but that is the easy thing to do since people are so easily manipulated.

That's a bad job by the networks to not report the story as it's unfolding.
