The NYPD data showed a 55 percent spike in homicides during the final weeks of 2014, which were marked by turmoil including anti-cop protests in the wake of the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases that boiled over with the assassination of two officers on patrol.
A total of 31 people were slain between Dec. 8 and Sunday, compared with 20 people killed during the same time period a year earlier.
In addition, the city tallied 102 shooting victims during the 28-day period, up 13 percent from the 90 people who shot in the previous year’s period.
The alarming numbers came despite an overall drop in homicides for 2014 to a record low of 332.
As of now it was the difference between 20 to 31 people. Not taking away from the families of those 11. Do the numbers continue to rise? What does the warmer months bring? Now these last two shootings (one from a lunatic and the other from robbers) have severely challenged that narrative.
This is the key aspect which explains the bulk of the protestors being white fools. They can't see past the race issues because they know nothing about the dark side of the streets. They are not made up the same internally as the cops (and soldiers) who keep them safe and free on a daily basis, free to spew hatred to those who've paved the way for their limp-wristed lives.
The incident on NYE on Ludlow Street is a perfect example. Back 20 years ago, not of those pansies would have dared step foot on Ludlow at 3 am. Now they think they own it. Why? Because rough men and women went into battle daily with the crack heads, dealers, pimps, and robbers who previously ruled the area. Now these savages chant for dead cops. Without those same cops, natural selection would have weeded these jokers out of the gene pool a long time ago.
Don't forget the black fool protestors whose likelihood of being shot by one of their own has steadily decreased because rough men work the streets taking illegal guns out of circulation.

...meanwhile the tale going on in de Blasio's other city are privileged protesters with black guilt (and probably just as many with white guilt) go from swanky restaurant to swanky restaurant in Manhattan having a good old time, knowing very well that neither them nor their kids are in no threat whatsoever by the police.
