12 - 18 inches is a pain in the ass, but hardly historic.

I hear maybe a blizzard on eastern Long Island but probably just a regular biggish snow for the city.Sounds like we will only get 10 or 12 inches or so.There is no blizzard watch or warning for NYC as far as I know.

THE INGREDIENTS ARE THEN COMING TOGETHER FOR A POSSIBLE HISTORIC
NOR`EASTER AS A SECONDARY LOW FORMS OFF THE MID ATLANTIC EARLY MON.

When the meteorologists drop the H-word, you listen.

I wouldn't doubt 30" for the City and east as the max possible.

Blizzard watch for all five boroughs, Westchester, Rockland, Fairfield, CT and a bunch of counties in NJ (Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Union, parts of Passaic):

National Weather Service Watch Warning Advisory Summary

No blizzard watch on Long Island as of yet anyway.
