Here is my question.

If I still have the unlimited metro card that I bought from December 2014, when would be the last day that I can use the metrocard with full 30 day unlimited ride?

the metro card is still good. Once you use the card once, the clock starts ticking away the days

I'm pretty sure whenever there's a fare hike, they put a use-by date on the unlimiteds so that people don't stock up on them. I they start counting down as soon as fare hike takes effect or something. They usually post those dates up on their website. I'll make a post when those dates are up.

Yes, the MTA will let people for how long the unlimited metrocards purchased at the old fares are good for.

Thanks for all your reply. Appreciate that. I will check back later to get an update as well as on MTA official website.
