I have no problem legalizing marijuana. None whatsoever. However, let's consider some of the unintended consequences of doing so:

It will still create a black market (like liquor did and still does) that will need to be policed; you betcha
Folk will have grow factories in their basements and try to distribute it illegally. Picture that! Every other McMansion will have its own marijuana growing business right next door to you even!

Not if you let people have 1 or 2 personal plants for consumption...who still buys bootleg liquor? Nutcrackers? Yuck.

LOL! I'm just trying to picture myself living across the street from a grower, and wedged in between a grower! Boy oh boy! Oh yeah it's not bootleg. I mean the "after hour joints." Back in the day on Sunday's there was this woman who sold anything you needed off hours. I have no doubt some are still hustling this way still!!!!
