Congrats! Good luck. I'm trying to get out if this title as well. Been applying to other gigs so my fingers are crossed, lol.

I think it's just common sense, no need to study the passbook. The tests are never what these books portray.

Did anyone else get Saturday exam date. I hope to change mine during work hours. I hear the city pays you if you are taking a civil service exam. Can anyone verify this. Thanks

Finally got a DCAS rep on the phone who actually asneered both my questions. Yes I can change test time on 7/27 to a weekday. And yes I will get approved leave time if I get a note they provide at end of exam. Good luck to anyone else taking it!

Hi City & Gemini,

Was it anything like the questions in the passbook? A co-worker gave all of us who are taking the test a copy and it looked pretty easy. We were wondering if the city had made a totally new test, something that was way different from the questions in the passbook? I'm taking my test on 8/20. Congrats!

Nooo, not at all. There were supervisory questions similar. It seemed as if a few of the answers could've been correct. Just luck on those. Was very heavy on math, payroll and timekeeping.
