Working for HHC for 6 years I took and passed the promotional exam. I was unaware HHC was not a mayoral agency or not under the jurisdiction of the commissioner. I've been doing the job of a PAA as a clerical IV for 6 years only to receive a noneleigibility letter after waiting two years. I was notified that my passing scores are being held for working at HHC when I took the exam.
Hate to be a debbie downer, but there is quite a wait even after you are reached on the list and get youe interview. Ive been waiting for a title change with DCAS for awhile, my interview date was in November 2016.
Hi hazelnut, once you're reinstated you resume your place. Did you call DCAS to see if you're on outstanding certification? If you're already being reinstated to this list, you're probably near the top. You just have to wait until your agency calls next.
I'm with HRA and even with it being a big agency I haven't heard of any hiring pools in 2 months. Patience is key in this process!
When you place your name back on the List, how long does it take before you're called for an interview again?
No one really knows the answer to this. A lot of factors play a part on this. It could be 1 week, or it could be 3 or 6 months. So, don't assume that once you place your name back on the list and you will get a job offer or job interview any time soon.
