I have still remaining 5 months on my lease what should I do?? Can I just move to and they keep the security deposit ?? That's how it works, or my landlord can sue me??

My housing specialists told me in this case you would have to pay 5 months rent . It's a contract that you would be breaking and yes you can be sued .

I think depend on the landlord, few month I had a talk with my landlord because there was no gas on my apartment for like 2 months, he told me that I could move if I wanted or I could wait, I asked for lower rent because of the issue and they denied, so he told me to move, but then 3 weeks later they put on the gas

Sorry to be the barer of bad news girl friend but the office IS closed today because New Years is being observed today. So the countdown actually starts tomorrow :-(

I hope everyone did apply for more than this affordable housing. The day I went to view the apartment it was atleast four ppl moving in for two bedrooms. Think they are trying to get rid of those studio apartments.

They only have 9 one bedrooms about 20 studios and 30 two bedrooms. Hopefully atleast one of us gets one we need.

How did they contact you ? Email, letter, or phone call?

I doubt it Lopez. When we were interviewed our packets were specifically for Webster E commons.
