My housing specialists told me in this case you would have to pay 5 months rent . It's a contract that you would be breaking and yes you can be sued .
I think depend on the landlord, few month I had a talk with my landlord because there was no gas on my apartment for like 2 months, he told me that I could move if I wanted or I could wait, I asked for lower rent because of the issue and they denied, so he told me to move, but then 3 weeks later they put on the gas
I woke up feeling like the countdown starts today also but what if the office is closed still because of the holiday omg . This month long of anxiety is killing me and I can't take it any longer .
Sorry to be the barer of bad news girl friend but the office IS closed today because New Years is being observed today. So the countdown actually starts tomorrow :-(
I hope everyone did apply for more than this affordable housing. The day I went to view the apartment it was atleast four ppl moving in for two bedrooms. Think they are trying to get rid of those studio apartments.

How did they contact you ? Email, letter, or phone call?
I just want an answer before my lease is up and I'll be golden!
