How do you guys know which apartment your up for ? That was never specified to me . I have a one year old son and I don't want to be picky but I really would prefer a two bedroom .

If it's just you and your son and he's under age they have to give you a 1 bedroom.

In my case it's myself my husband and our little girl so we're up for a 2 bedroom

Even if I could afford a two bedroom ? That would suck because I could afford a two bed.

Even if you can afford a two bedroom they won't give it to you that's why they don't ask you how many bedrooms would you like. They go by everyone you would put on your lease and Nyc housing regulations.

Well I hope not getting my money order back means they have one for me if I pass the check. It makes no sense for them not to have an apartment available and still run a background check.

Gotta remember it's a lottery. Only like 60 apartments for thousands of people. Have to remember it's a possibility you won't get call. But make sure You sign up for every lottery apartment.
