Not likely, if there's no ticket - you got away with it. you can try checking NYC Serv - New York City On-Line Payment Services and search for your plate # but give it a few days to show up.

good luck.

NYC DOT - Motorists & Parking - Alternate Side Parking

You got lucky because today alt side is suspended because of Solemnity of Ascension.

You lucky!, i overslept for 3 mins.. ran outside saw the damn meter lady next to my car!
Another time, I got a ticket for not parking on the wrong side, but for expired inspection sticker, by 1 day!!! felt like someone on my block reported me or something.

I think what the parking agents do is keep track of any upcoming expiration stickers they see on their regular route. If it's a car that parks every day on the same street, they just wait til the moment it expires and then pounce to get in the ticket. It's not unusual to hear of people getting a ticket for expired registration on the very day it expires -- and this must be the explanation.

Who knows, they may even have a computer program that allows them to input upcoming expiring registrations and then they receive an alert to look for those cars on the expiration days.
