Watch a Starbucks Manager Completely Lose It Over a Frappuccino Cookie Straw - Eater

Getting upset and yelling just because someone didn't leave their name....wtf? Makes me glad I live in a small town....

It's crazy behavior for sure, but what's with your ignorant comment about "makes me glad I live in a small town"? What, you think living in a smaller place insulates you against employee rage?

Here's a link to a list of rampage killers by disgruntled workers. Hint -- NYC is not on the list, but Manchester, CT, Goleta CA, Meridian, MS and Wakefield, MA all are on the list, and the total of dead just in those four shootings is 28 people. List of rampage killers (workplace killings) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So go back and hide your head in the sand some more.

P.S. I have never witnessed behavior like what's in the video, but it is true that NYC low-level employees in retail have a tendency towards being sullen, unlike what I imagine is the case in the rest of the US.

So-- sullen, yes, but explosively angry and aggressive, not so much. The reason is probably that they would lose their job in a nanosecond if they behave like that.

I dont condone the employees behavior, but I can understand the frustration of low level workers making peanuts while trying to scrape by in Americas most wealthy and expensive city all the while serving rich entitled people all day.

1) no, this isn't typical. But seeing confrontations, drug addicts, and mentally ill homeless is a daily occurrence. I can't recall seeing an employee lose it at his work though.

If your work skills are such that you can only work Low wage, retail job, perhaps you shouldn't live in the most expensive city in the country. Or, write your city leaders and change your voting from officials that allow millions of unskilled illegals in the city, who push free market wages down.

Any employee at Starbucks who has to serve customers is still a low-level employee.
