Why should they work for min. wage when they can make three times as much standing on street corners looking for people who are soft touches. I work 3 jobs just to pay our bills, it burns me up to give any of our hard earned money away to people who are lazy. Of course theres a smalll percentage of them who really do need help and cant work, but the majority of people I see are able to work and are just too lazy to find a job. Theres social services out there for people who truly need help, where are the social services for middle class people who are struggling to make ends meet. *** that, make them work for it like the rest of us do.
I agree 100% and laughed when I read this.

There is so much ignorance here I would not even know how to begin to address it.

Right ... because the people living on the street had the same life growing up and opportunities that you did.
Right ?

You shouldn't be so trusting of the beggers. A substantial number of them are not homeless at all and actually make quite a good living from their made up sob story. At the end of the day they make a whole lot more than minimum wage and it's all tax free because they don't report any income to the state or IRS

We're not talking about those who are truly homeless. We're talking about those who DO have opportunities and are simply taking advantage of those who are less fortunate. If you can't distinguish the two I don't know what else to tell you.

I agree with what your saying it't easy to tell who needs the help and who don't, if the person can't tell.
Then you will be scam...😮😮😮

It is true that I hand out a lot of money.

It seems to me that begging on the train indicates some sort of dire situation. Just lowering yourself to that level.
