If you were here on 9/11, do loud nearby airplanes still put you on edge?

I was walking down the street and suddenly became aware of a plane getting louder and louder and LOUDER. And I stopped and tried to nervously scan the sky, though nothing was visible because of the nearby buildings. But I saw that a lot of other people had also stopped in their tracks and were craning their necks.

yes, they do.

and manhattan should be a no fly zone, and the same with the rest of our boroughs. airports are built on the water, the planes should access and depart from the water, NOT over residential neighborhoods

I hate airplanes and helicopters

Loud planes are a pain in the ass but not because of 9/11.

Actually, we are fortunate in there being a lot fewer planes, if any, flying over Manhattan than before.
