Hi~
jcordero1423

I have received an email from the lady processing my case and she said for me to send in additional info because she is processing my application. I wanted to know if this means she has already checked my credit, because it is not so good. Do they allow a person to get an guarantor?

Thanks

Hello,

I recently had a file sent to HPD for approval to a housing lottery apartment in BK, NY. They requested I fill out forms for tax docs. Then a week later asked for the same documents for my fiance. The managing company computed my income along with my fiance. I get SSDI and my fiance receives cash payments from babysitting. The management said we fit in the income bracket and we saw the landlord and he liked us so they forwarded our app to HPD.

My question is would you see any possible way HPD may reject our app?

I'm waiting for HPD approval now and asking the same thing! Do you remember how long it took to hear back? Did they approve it?

Well I had my interview 3 weeks ago. The tenants association sent out forms to my employers and landlord to fill out, which my landlord and employers swiftly filled out and sent. Unfortunately one of the verification forms was lost by USPS. I only found this out when I called the tenants association managing this development and they told me that they were missing X form. I asked them to resend it but I'm not confident they did - I called again after a few hours (upon confirming with my employer that they had in fact sent out the form 9 days before). The person I spoke to on the phone sounded dismissive and that they'd let me know in 2 weeks if I got the apartment or not. So here I am ripping my hair out because I just want them to resend the forms for my employer to send back.... I'm not sure what to do, I'm concerned that if I call them again I'll annoy them to the point where they'll disqualify me. Anybody have any advice?
