I've been to Manhattan a lot for work and have done the tourism thing.

I'm a huge Yankee fan, and unfortunately, every time I've been has been during the off-season. I'm planning a two day trip up to catch a game at Yankee Stadium before it gets torn down. I'll be getting tickets to a sox game.

Any recommendations for a place to stay, yet stay on some semblance of a budget? Would love to be near Times Square, but wouldn't rule out a place like Greenwich or elsewhere. B&Bs would be fine. I don't need a palace. Just a place to crash for a couple nights., without dropping $500.

Any recommendations?

There is a place called Abington Guest House. It's in the West Village so it's a great neighborhood and it has more of a B&B feel. The prices cannot be beat for the area-about $200-$300 a night which is a steal in NYC.

Actually, that's one of the first I checked out. Looks like a cool little place, but they're already booked for the week that I want. I do appreciate the help though

Any others?
