can anyone recommend a good internist in Queens...preferably close to Bayside. We are in real need of a good one as our previous doc is simply too far. many thanks.

Why don't you ask your current doctor? If you explain that the issue is distance, he may well be amenable to making some recommendations

I have observed that most of the best ones are not accepting new patients.

You could look for reviews and ratings on your insurance site, then check those people on other medical review sites.

I too think you should look at your insurance company's website to see which doctors take your insurance and are accepting new patients. Then those doctors that are relevant you can check online and see how other patients rated them.

Good Luck...it's a horrible experience trying to find someone who is tolerable, forget GOOD.
If they were examined every 5 years, 90% of them would lose their licenses.
