Default the village on a saturday morning?

i am trying to figure out something to do on saturday morning the 9th before heading back to the LGA airport. i need to head back around 1pm. are the shops and such open in the village on a saturday morning? any other suggestions as to where my husband and i can pass the time doing something meaningful? little italy? by meaningful i mean getting out there and doing something. we will already have been to the museums, top of the rock, seen the daily show, gone to central park, etc. we're hippies at heart so i thought the village might be a good idea, just not sure there will be much to do on a saturday morning?!?!

Yeah, I nice walk down Washington Sq Park, Bleeker St or St. Mark's place would be nice. Shops open around 9-10 AM.

If you like a really good burger, head over to "the Corner Bistro" at West 4 St & Jane St.... a real old style bar.
