I am not exactly a supporter but thought it was important to post something that complicates the usual posted propaganda.

I predict - few responses from the usuals.

Just because NYPD is not booking people doesn't mean crime is down.

Murder rate (which NYPD has to record regardless) is still up. Meanwhile, number of poor people is up 7%, and number of homeless people is up also, yet quality of life tickets by NYPD down 18%. All it means is that NYPD simply not policing minor crimes.

And why is the article talking about restaurants getting more "A" grades than ever, as though its some kind of de Blasio's achievement? The restaurant letter program was started by Bloomberg. If anything, it just means that old Bloomberg policies had a long term positive effect on the quality of restaurant food and practices in NYC.

The murder rate actually did go down his first year in office, yet the usual anti-de Blasio posters didn't seem to acknowledge that

Also, the current number of murders for this year is 239, and last year on this day it was 227, that's not really a big difference.

Reverse everything you said and you will be talking about your own position.

That's one of the points.

Crime and Complaints may be down but the press complaining about crime has skyrocketed!! I'm starting to wonder if our local newspapers are less than objective observers.

deBlasio makes it easy for newspapers to write headlines.
