Of course YOU don't. Being a bonehead is hardly gender specific. It just can seem that way, depending on which side of the fence you are on.

There was a piece in Sundays Times about texters, and phoners. How their e-gadgets affect their interactions with other people, not for the better.

The other day, I saw this couple, smooching. They looked so happy! But the guy was...texting.

Maybe he was trying to find them a nice hotel room. Hope so.

When I am with a woman, I am with her. I am not texting, watching a football game, or anything else. Apart from the physical act, there is the intimacy. At my age, that's the major pleasure.

Phone off. DVD player off. TV off. Everybody else, off. Just you, on.

The police themselves are the biggest offenders at events like this.

I stopped going to the Gay March because the police made it a nightmare to navigate.
