Why doesn't this NEW YORK CITY forum have, at the very top of the first page of the forum, a "Sticky" inviting people to post PHOTOGRAPHS of whatever regarding the 5 boroughs of New York City?
For instance, the Boston, MA forum starts out has a "Sticky" which states the following: Sticky: Photos of Boston
or the Massachusetts forum at-large starts out with a "Sticky' which states the following: Sticky: Photos of MA-please limit to photos & their discussion only, thanks.
or the Long Island forum starts out with a "Sticky' which states the following: Sticky: Long Island Pictures
and so on for so many other geography-specific forums on CITY-DATA.COM.
Why not for NEW YORK CITY? Or, if not for New York City as a whole, perhaps have 5 separate stickies for each of the 5 boroughs of NYC: 1 for Manhattan, 1 for Bronx, 1 for Queens, 1 for Brooklyn, and 1 for Staten Island . . . if it is considered too unwieldy to have all photos relevant to all the 5 boroughs of NYC lumped into one single sticky).
i always found stickies to become to big and cumbersome to do much good. nothing in particular can be found easily or at all and older photos get lost forever.
i always prefer to post under a seperate topic so people can search by just what they want to see.
its also bringing more hits that way to citi data as you can type in a google search brooklyn botanical garden and it can bring up the photos in city data on that topic.
as a photographer who posts many many photos here im not a sticky fan. 100 pages of photos never really serves much good.

We have a two sticky limit on City-Data. And, there is a photo thread on the forum, that is on the front page from time to time.

Lets take a vote! I agree I'd really like to see photo stickies..or at least stickied for a month on and off. I enjoy looking at pics and I think we get less pics posted because people are unaware sometimes.
I agree the "Safety Map" sticky should be removed and replaced with photo thread. What is this, Detroit? Even they don't have a "Safety Map". What the hell.
Don't see the point of the Moving to NYC sticky either! Shouldn't relocation questions be posted on the forum?
I feel like because NYC is the most-visited city in the US, there are billions of the same shots everywhere but then again, there are different angles.

I like seeing pictures of different neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Queens, or The Bronx. Seeing the same Manhattan pics gets boring after a while.
