I love that movie too. You are correct, earlier applicants were given a choice of apartments. I was lucky enough to get one with a balcony with a view of the courtyard and the Hudson. I was sleeping in my bedroom Thursday night and I heard what I thought was thunder. It was loud, roaring, and constant. I was thinking, my car is parked outside, hope I put up the windows all the way. I rolled over in bed and saw one of the most amazing fireworks over the Hudson, while looking through the floor to ceiling windows. not sure what was the occasion, maybe someone had a firework permit for a private event. Living in is this building is awesome. Almost 2 years later, I still never forget how thankful I am God blessed me with the opportunity that I would otherwise never have been able to enjoy in such an expensive city.

I'm glad to hear that, Pancheto. It sounds like everyone is being respectful and having fun at the same time. What matters most is communication and expressing what lies deep inside the Heart.

I'm still waiting patiently on the waiting list (Log #9xx) to see when there will be an open apartment available for my family. It has been about a year since I last heard from my eligibility specialist/eligibility manager. It would be nice if I received an update or a message or even a letter every once in awhile/year indicating if anything is available or not. Communication matters.

Props for the Hudson view too =) Enjoy life to the fullest bro, God Bless. Patience truly is a virtue. If they eventually do get to my log# I'll let you know!
