hi guys, just got an email today to sent some documents.
Im hopping to get a two BD (We are 3 people)
We already won an apartment at Gotham West (3 years ago) but we recently welcomed a baby boy and were hopping to get a two BD. Gotham west promised us that we will get an upgrade once we are having the baby but they changed their mind, If we knew it we would have never moved to Gotham .
Anyway, I wish you all god luck . Our log # 1###

Hi nychh,

When did you send your first documents to them? So we can see how long should be waited for the interview or additional documents. Thanks!

Maybe the Gotham West one will give clues on how long. Secondly, I sent an e-mail recently just to make sure we didn't miss a call . On Wednesday, the Eligibility Specialist told us that we still have to wait for an interview.

Personally, I don't mind waiting, because yesterday Nintendo released a new application in NYC that could revolutionize the entire gaming world in collaboration with Google Maps satellite and Niantic that is having a hard time connecting the public to its servers. I'm going to be walking around to parks and gardens all over Midtown and UES for a month or two to try out the app. 1997 Pokemon fever all over again. Expect all the children at their schools to be talking about Pokemon all over again in 2016. It is a universal phenomenon. The purpose of this app is to bring together parents and children, so they could love each other more. Children tend to disconnect emotionally when the parent isn't gaming cultured. The app will help re-link that bond.

I have no idea what you are talking about but I wish you all the luck

I also took into consideration HUD's definition of an asset: "Items of value that may be turned into cash." Except for necessary property, such as clothing and furniture. Any asset over $5,000 (i.e., 5001 x *.02)

Tax Credit Housing - What types of income are included in household income? (incldued in income)

This one is also extremely important I think. It helps remove the congestion when conducting the algorithm, because I know sometimes people earn money online sporadically:

"Any income or gifts you receive that are temporary, nonrecurring, or sporadic."

Tax Credit Housing - What types of income are excluded from household income? (excluded from income)

Let's hope for the best.

yes they do calculate 2% of your asset (checking, savings, interest...)

Not anymore- as of February 1, 2015, it's 0.06% of your assets.

Its been 2 weeks since interview and mum's the word. Hopefully this week I will have some contact from them. Has anyone on this forum actually signed a lease or moved in to an apartment?

My biggest fear after all of this back and forth I'm going to get a letter saying we don't have any more apartments for your family size. That would suck...Royally...Fingers still crossed

Pancheto even if one of us doesn't get an apartment don't we get on a waiting list? Pretty sure the wait won't be too long since you're log 5xx. I'm worried as much as you are so you're not alone.

It's just the new fad that kids are into now on their smartphones, Nychh.
