So, again, why did you start this thread if you are so strongly committed to what you've decided?

My opinion is that this is a troll thread. I also think you probably already have 3 other accounts on this forum. Your writing sounds familiar.

You are starting to show your true color with that statement.
Grandma always says, "A smoke doesn't exist without fire".
Perhaps, these AA guys are up to something.

Or perhaps they are like you and looking to start trouble and ridicule people?

Why would I have a name like "lateesh, kaneesha, etc?" -This is such a blatant
stereotype.
I said DON'T assume one of those names, as in DON'T be a ghetto stereotype.

Prepare to lower your standards because you'll be asked to do things that doesn't sit well with your background and stereotyped for being something that you're not and that's how it is in NYC.

And please don't go with an authentic african name.

Try french (it would help if you learned a little of the language.)

that may not have quite the cache' you think it does.

You might try "i'm descended from thomas jefferson?"
👅...ha!

Michelle...

"Red Hook is quiet? You learn something new every day" doesn't sound like someone who "just moved" to NYC.

"much more classier than..." is faulty grammar. Should be either "much classier than" or "much more classy." It might be written after an elite university education, but it's a stretch.

Keep posting. You'll undo yourself. Just as you propose faking an identity, it's a short run.

BrightRabbit, we think alike. This is the exact post that made me realize that OP is just the latest incarnation of another poster who has already gone through three screen names on CD.
