It is.

So, got in line for about a minute with my ol' roommate. Got to thinking, we can just eat this crap when we see our families, and went to Bonchon. No regrets.

A coworker got breakfast for a bunch of us today and it was pretty good. She also said the place was very efficiently run and she was only on line for about 5 minutes even though it was out the door.

A lot of regional food chains have cult like following. People would probably lose their sh** if In-N-Out Burger opened up in NYC.

I know I would. Gotta deal with Petey's Burger for now, which is a rather tasty alternative

What you guys need is a Carl's JR. Best fast food burger IMO. The combinations they come up with are incredible.

The appeal isn't so much the food but the service. If they follow their store model of the ones in the South the employees are always :
1. Clean,professional looking
2. Courteous
3. Prompt
4. Properly trained
5. Friendly and smiling

Now it may sound cheesy but it's far more enjoyable then the complete opposite I get at McDonald's,Taco Bell or KFC. The level of service is on par with midrange restaurants, rather then most fast food ones. Serve a relatively tasty product, fresh lemonade and some dressed up dancing cows and its a win-win.

It's getting rave reviews by consumers. Considering the hoards of people that have patronized them since it's opening, I say that's pretty fu**ing amazing.

Have never been there and never will. They are a homophobic corporation, not to mention crazy-ass Christian ownership. No, I will not give them a penny of my money.

As for the lines of people? I think on their opening day, they were giving out "free meals for a year" to the first 100 people. I heard some people even camped out

I just don't get the insane lines.... it's FAST FOOD people..... nothing more, nothing less.

Eating there is a pleasure.

If they staff the New York stores with typical trash NYC employees, it cannot possibly have that level of success. I believe in most locations in the South they still maintain an appearance of no visible tattoos.
