Did anyone ever bring a newspaper to read, and have the person who is clearly reading it from the side get visibly frustrated when you turn the page? I have seen that one a few times. Anyway, I expect people to possibly eavesdrop due it being a crowded public space but going out of ones way and making it obvious is poor form.

What's wrong with it? If a person wants it to be private, don't do it in public.

I often peek because I'm amazed at how many adults spend their time playing games. I figure that I'm going to be the smartest person in town soon, because I spend my transit time reading.

Is this considered normal? One of these days, I'm gonna take a selfie with one.
It's just someone seeking harmless relief from the boredom of a subway ride.

What bothers me are people who are so paranoid that someone may actually see their precious screen.
Especially when you stand or sit in such a position that it's practically in one's face. Funny though how cellphone users have no problem is everyone on the bus or in the store or whatever can hear their every word, all too clearly.
