I am looking into applying for a Trade Job with a local Union - it starts as an apprentice, I came across this online, its a very high paying trade and you submit application, take the test, and then you are interviewed if you pass, I am sure the test costs money- not sure how much. I spent 350 to take the stage hands test years ago, and they didn't tell me my grade. I believe they said they would interview the top 20%, Seemed like the fix was in. Anyway, Is this an honest process? or is it just a waste of "know-nobodies" money to make things seem legit? Because I do not know anyone.
