I gotta show up too on the 18th. The DMV made me get medical too. I guess its some new thing, but when I read the Sanitation requirements over it doesn't say anything about you have to have the A3 restriction on your permit so I guess your still good. Just a waste of money though.
This is just my guess. I could be wrong one of the senior members could tell you better.
I recently received my permit but while at the DMV I was told I have to get a medical (Which I did) and I now am able to drive "NI" I recently found out I do not need a "NI" but instead a "EI" (A3 restriction). Do I have to go back to the DMV and change this, or am I good how it is ? The only restriction I see is "X"
My list number is also within the first 100 and I only have my class B permit. What are the chances I will be hired this year ?
Just wondering because whatever I need to change needs to be done in the next 2 days. My appointment is May 18 @ 8am
Thanks !! in advance.....
Dub turned his computer off but he told me to tell you that you have two days to catch up with the forum

You could use the search function on the forum as you're now the 25886336 person to ask this in may alone.
If you wasted your time because didn't bother to read and just listened to the woman and now you have a medical you will need to keep paying for an updating the medical for the rest of your career. Fine if you want to use the license outside of dsny
Otherwise go back to the dmv and get the EI with an A3 restriction and never worry about the medical again

Hey Gents,
If they're up to list number 900+ for pre orientation, is that typically a sign that they're hiring 300 guys this first class or more towards 500? Or is it just standard procedure to begin the general hiring process?
Thanks
