Pro-Palestinian protesters, black activists, civil rights activists, and progressives are deeply disappointed in Mayor Bill de Blasio so far, since he took office in 2014; and they are saying that he is a sellout. A Palestinian activist said that De Blasio is "too pro-Israel". Can De Blasio win again in 2017?

/\/\/\ Actually, that's a credit to him (DeBlasio) than a detriment. Even DeBlasio has limits to bad ideas.

Why would I care for one minute what a pro-Palestinean activist thinks of what DeBlasio thinks about Israel? Why not get in there and get all jumpy-crazy about what he thinks about ISIL or Syria, too?

Last week DeBlasio was scheduled to tour the West Bank, but had to change his entire trip schedule for security reasons, specifically: Palestineans have been stabbing Israelis randomly in the streets, egged on by clerics in their mosques holding up knives and waving suicide vests from the pulpits during prayer services.

Israel advised they couldn't guarantee the mayor's safety on the West Bank. Instead, he went to a school in Tel Aviv in mainland Israel, where Israeli and Palestinean students study together. He spent time with Mayor Huldai of Tel Aviv. So if the Palestineans wanted the NYC mayor to see their situation there, to be more supportive of them-- they missed their chance.

Agreed!

In general for a NYC mayor the Jewish vote is a much more important one than a pro-Palestinian vote.
