In your own little mind. You're believing your own hype about yourself. You think you're a know it all. Keep thinking that.

Simple Answer: He comes off as pro brown, pro black, pro poor and the elites in the city can't stand not being the center of attention, like how it was during Rudy and Bloomberg era.
Hence why you see phrases like he wants to take NY back when all he really wants to do is make NY affordable for everyone to live in because the biggest cause of crime is lack of income and social growth.

You can see the lack of education - or good education - by observing what people think "socialist" might be.

Often here I feel as though I am listening to my grandmother talking about the commie scares in the '50s and '60s. It had not occurred to me that this level of ignorance still existed.

De Blasio is not a socialist.

Moreover, the anti-woman and anti-gay woman babble is very telling about the sorts of people making the comments.
Isn't it weird tho, but yet so true!?

I really feel the same way too.

Don't be ridiculous. It has nothing to do with attention.

It has only to do with $$$$$$$$. They had a plan, now looking to be somewhat foiled.

It is true, though, that it also has everything to do with the black and brown thing.
