"New York in Top 5 Most Miserable Cities, Says Forbes" Sweet!
I saw this on gothamist.com: Gothamist: New York in Top 5 Most Miserable Cities, Says Forbes
Interesting article, but I really don't think we're the 4th most miserable city in the USA. Seems like a tad bit of an exageration. I could think of more miserable places: Missippi Delta, Appalachia, rural Maine, Los Angeles

They listed us Chicagoans as #6!!
Maybe the list should've been cities to be most jealous of...NYC #1, Chicago #2

I guess they mean we are all miserable? They sure don't mean the place itself is miserable. I've been to Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Wichita, Detroit, Omaha, and the list goes on, and they are all a hell of a lot more miserable than NYC. The PEOPLE in Oklahoma City might not be miserable, but they say ignorance is bliss. A friend says it's right to call NYC the Big Apple because NYC is like the Garden of Eden after the apple, but I told him the analogy fails because Oklahoma City is NOT like the Garden of Eden BEFORE the apple.
Sorry if anyone is from OKC and/or loves it intensely. I'm sure there are very nice people but the place just S**KS.

OKC looks a lot like Houston. Wide open spaces, nobody on the streets, lots of sprawl.
I think I would really hate living in the sunbelt, I just wish we could get some of their warm weather

I guess it's ture. NYC is like this if you have no money. Though, everywhere is like that if you don't have the money!
