Its a nice family place with a good public elementary school and lots of kids. The commuting and childcare are very difficult though, so I see your point. Realistically if one parent doesn't stay home or work closely (Bronx or lower Westchester) life can be difficult.

I heard that City Island are having cases in which people are selling drugs. However, it is still a nice place to go eat.

I notice now reading that article more closely that one of the persons quoted in the article tries to co-op the drug issue into a Bronx thing by saying something to the effect, "people forget this is still the bronx..." I don't think this is urban Bronx drug problems spilling over or a general Bronx issue per se, I feel it's more indicative of the drug issues you often see in New York area suburbs. Several Long Island towns for instance have similar issues.

Yeah is true what you are saying. The Drug problems is not that big of a problem in City Island, I just post the link to say that a drug problem was rising. However, it has not come to a big problem in City Island. I have not heard any more news of the drug situation.
