So you agree that they do not have the leisure to sit back and laugh at us.
Let me word this correctly, In terms of current events world wide? No, we're all in turmoil.
In terms of the way we choose to carry ourselves, the way be undermine and belittle our own people, whether it be ethnicity, race, political or social status, etc. We Suck... lol.
What I think is the most curious aspect, not mentioned in the article, is that I heard on the radio that the father ran into a deli, but the deli refused to let him call 911.
This was already discussed here, and also in several news articles. The delis refused to let him call 911 because he was very drunk (swaying, slurring, etc.) and said something along the lines of "Gimme the phone" and not something more appropriate like "Please call 911, my daughter and I were confronted at gunpoint and she is being attacked."
Also, btw, it was reported that after he was refused the phone, he actually passed by a cop car without asking for help, and then a minute later swung back around to approach the cop car for help. This would indicate something negative, like perhaps he really was drunk. Or an idiot. Or a criminal himself.

I agree ! and would lean toward the latter potentially.
I suppose it could be mistrust of the police in general as well as something to hide himself. In these neighborhoods people tend to keep things among themselves. We see this every day. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it doesn't matter, sometimes it's not so good.

I agree...
an earlier report stated that he was sleeping with this "daughter" of his for quite sometime prior to the Park incident. That he offered the girl to the boys when they walked up on the two of them having sex and drinking in the park.

None of which would make sense to any sane rational person whose daughter was likely being jumped by a wolf pack.
This some kind of piece of man (the father) is going to bring this whole case crashing down, you mark my words. His stuff is straight up raggedy and story so far very sketchy.

Well, that's the thing. People do keep things amongst themselves, but for something like that ...?
