My guess people who work at the hospital near by or are told by real estate agents no this is the upper east side still. Its a great deal!
Maybe. But the only way to get to Mount Sinai without walking through/near/around the PJs (and possibly getting jacked) is to walk down to 86th, over to Madison then go northward.

People pay to live in condos and luxury rentals right next to the projects in Chelsea, and close to the projects in LIC, the Upper West Side, etc.
yeah I don't think they really care about having to walk near the projects
In the most expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan you leave your building and you see homeless in the street.

Funny, people with no clue posting. News flash - this area is not Chelsea.
I guess you would only know that if you live in New York.
Who said it was Chelsea? It's Manhattan and the condos are rising, will be filled, and the neighborhood's bad element will be appropriately dealt with by the authorities.

For the right price I would live anywhere in Manhattan, even in the projects. Buy myself a lion and alligator for security purpose in my 5 bedroom apartment in the projects.
