supermario, try telling someone living in riverpark towers how close they are to the trains he he he. I'm going to cross check the info on river park towers being "projects". One time i was walking in, and there was a group of about 5 kids giving me the stares i just shrugged it of and was like whatever.

Ok maybe not that far west. But the river park towers are practically on the river. But if the 4 train is on Jerome, the everything up to sedgwick is walking distance. I know I am 5 minutes from the train.

They are projects. What else can they be? Yeah, and IMO in terms of crime the river park towers are underrated. I walked in too and there were alot of crazies out. I've been to the Morris houses and I got to say that there is really no different between the two.

River Park Towers are not NYCHA. They are however, federally subsidized housing. I do not know if the buildings belong to one program such as Mitchell Lama or multiple programs. One interesting note is that there is an identical cluster of buildings as River park, built at the same time by the same builder/ architect/ etc down the East River situated on the east side of Manhattan, I believe around the 20's. Anyway, these are high priced coops. Just goes to show what location means.
