Default Will any New Yorkers qualify for Economic stimulus?

Given that a relatively high income is required to live in NYC, how many of you qualify for stimulus when the income ceiling is set @ max $75k/yr for a single and $150k/yr for married couples? Since Sen Schumer signed off for this, does it affect your opinion of him?

Do you have any proof or links to an article stating that Sens Clinton & Schumer signed off on this income stimulus?

What I'd like to know is why a guy from Texas who uses words like "Dumbocrat" is doing on the NYC board worrying about us? Then I saw you went to the SF board and some others with the same question, so what's up with that?

First off, there are many people in New York who will qualify with those income ceilings. Secondly, the point is not to give someone like me a couple of hundred as a rebate, the point should be to get money into the hands of those who are most pinched for the simple pragmatic reason that they will actually spend the money, so it will in fact be a STIMULUS. My personal opinion is that the bill doesn't go far enough in that direction.

If I have problems with Schumer, it's not because of this. The New York senators I have the biggest problems with are the ones who voted to admit Texas to the union.
