I am asking a question for a senior couple who do really know how to used internet.

How to apply for it and is it difficult to get one? I will be helping them for the application. It can be public housing for regular low income residents, it is be public housing for senior residents only.

Couple ages: husband (63 yrs old) & wife (60 yrs old).

Low income (two person/total): less than $15,000 annually, part time job. Live independently, renting a room in a private house.

Preferable: one bedroom apartment or studio in Queens and Brooklyn, I think it is very hard to get one in Manhattan.

Thanks.
