Interesting, the guy that told me was the manager of the intake interviews. But I guess them "forgetting about the 2%" got me an apt.. but yeah, first month and security so basically two months rent.
I walked by with my binoculars this afternoon and peeped up and across into all the units with their shades up and occupied, and omg, some of units... lmfao

Hey, random question, do you know how tall that corner building will be across from Dean street -- it's still under construction? You and I have nearly identical units and I'm curious how you think it'll affect our views.
The lady that showed me my apt said it won't be as tall as us. Across dean street from us.

I know! There are some apartments I have seen that I would NOT want to be living below, above, or right next too. guh-ROSS! It's so funny how a luxury building could contain such trash JUST LIKE ONE MONTH IN!. wtf

Hahhah I was just kidding.. the upper floors look like they are still are filled with construction trash! (and they are toy binoculars, so not very good!)
I was near there on Friday and didn't see any so called "trash". Of course, I didn't have binoculars which is probably illegal.
Hi! I'm new. And I have NO idea how to use this board. PLEASE forgive me if I'm bad at it.
I got the call that I'll be hearing from the building about my lease signing within 2 weeks. Coma...you're in, yah? Wondering if you'd mind answering a question? I saw a unit. Back in October. I was one of the first to see one. They said this was the exact unit I'd be moving into. Anybody tried & had any luck requesting a different unit? Higher floor, different layout. Whatever? Are they all the same floorplan for us who went through this process? Anybody know? Any feedback from anyone would be much appreciated! :-)
Manhola, it's a form you sign with your work info that they physically mail to your job (or whereever your paychecks are processed are from if your company outsources). My HR department came up to me and said Mhany sent us this letter on behalf of you and it was what I signed and they had to fill in hours worked, salary, etc. And then mail or fax it back to the management company.
OK, thanks for your response. My first interview is this coming Friday. My HR dept is notoriously unresponsive. I hope they don't mess things up for me, if I get that far. 🙏🏽
