Thanks crwnhtsresident again for the information....it's always a good sign that they treated you nicely because sometimes I would think certain buildings will treat you differently just because you are under the "affordable" housing group. I'm going in to appeal my rejection and hoping that they might still have room for me....fingers crossed!

Are you referring to the ones that are kind of zig-zag? If so, I wasn't offered one of those. I was told they were all gone.

Prolly not available for your income band. They only have but s many apartments they are offering to each income band. She was at the highest income band.
If you take a look at the detail on the affordable housing site, there is a number next to the income band range that let's you know how many apartments are being offered for your income band

The she you're referring to is me, so yes. I know how many are in each income band, I referenced that in a previous post. I am responding to the question another user asked.

You have those who are being negative Nancies and not thankful of what's happening.. they are dealing with hiccups like any apartments go through.. especially new ones.. so on that end.. some may go, some may not take an apartment at all. Market rent wise may go down a bit .. no one is renting market price here.

Sure can.. you can allow others for permission into your apartment or access to the complex.

You are allowed to let have access to your apartment? I guess as long as you tell the doorman? Does each apartment have a washer and dryer? Is there also another laundry facility in the complex?

Are there no market rate residence in the building? Hmmm....that doesn't seem very good for the building.

No they have leased out many market rate residences. Almost 30 so far. They list 10 or so apts at a time from what I've noticed. They started leasing to market ppl from December.

Also I believe other people said they could bring someone with them to view... I didn't ask. But why not? They were so nice to me during the viewing, they acted like I already lived there. I made sure to ask lotssss of questions about what was available, what wasn't, which apartments were for lottery people, etc etc.
Oh yeah for sure, I bought my whole family, cousins, non-cousins. They were very welcoming! haha.
