the trick is to stand there inactive for a few minutes and then they don't pay you any mind . i get within inches of them and i do the same with bees and never had any problems . i use very small micro flashes and perhaps they like the light .

it does , holy cow i didn't even realize i spent 2 hours at one bush . the keeper rate is low too . i think out of 300 shots i kept a dozen . luckily my wife is in to it too so she is never really hanging around waiting for me .

she posts over in the photography forum from time to time , badcook5 . don't ask ha ha ha ha
