lol, c'mon, that's NOT a nycha apartment, 250 would be appropriate for an affordable housing apartment.

I just came across this site, and it seemed pretty accurate when I plugged in my own rent:

Rent.in.NYC,
You neglected to tell us WHERE the "alcove studio" is located. Did you forget the worn maxim: "Location, location, location."

True, but if one can live in a 300 sft apartment depends also on one's size.
I can imagine that a 300 lbs person cannot! But a 120 lbs person, no problem.
True?

So are you going to tell us how much you pay for your apt?
PS Your landlord has better things to do then look online and see if there are photos of the apt you are living in.

I am not going to post pics, he might be a member on this forum and recognize the apartment!
Then he knows my screen name and can follow all my posts....lol.....:-(

I pay 1,100 for that apartment and I think it is fair, in these times. All utilities included, even the electricity!
I live already 6 years in that apartment, and my LL never gave me a raise! How nice is that, but I am a model of a tenant, he says so, and he is a model of an LL....Win/Win.

I found it on craigslist, no broker, directly from the LL....:-)
