I like the colors, it really spruced it up. I don't know if they upgraded the colors of other bus lines across the city but the q10 buses are really comfortable now and functional with the multiple exits and superb air conditioning !

I think they started upgrading all buses on that line because it passes through decent neighborhoods and the average ridership for the q10 bus is made up of decent people who are least likely to deface the buses.

My favorite buses are the round ones from the 90s (Novabus RTS)

I read the MTA is changing all buses in the city to that Blue/Yellow buses. They are starting in Queens and eventually the other boroughs. But it will take some time. I think they are suppose to have free WiFi?

you got on a new bus? now THIS is fascinating. i agree with your synopsis of the line. if you notice the worst neighborhoods, get the outdated buses the most

The Q111 goes through South Jamaica and it has some of those blue buses, so that theory about neighborhoods is invalid.

They all go there, but the limited and locals versions use different routes after Rockaway Blvd.
