LOL. I've lived here for years, but have never understood the wife beater. It does not keep pit stains off your overshirt. It does nothing, but maybe hide your nips. And during summer months, black guys rock them almost exclusively.
Agreed. And what's with pretty young women and their cropped/halter tops? They do nothing but maybe hide their nips.

Original wife beater, guinea tee, or **** tee undershirt got that name because it was worn by men from southern Italy/Europe and as immigrants to the USA they had a reputation of "correcting" their wives. Anglo-Saxon and other men did this but they wore different undershirts. *LOL*
Obviously in southern Europe being a warm climate you don't need or want a full undershirt, hence the tank top style. In the north with its often cold and damp weather every bit of extra layers probably does help.
Other great thing about sleeveless t-shirts is they do not restrict movement; something the laboring classes of men (again largely once mostly immigrants) appreciated. However being without sleeves tank top undershirts won't help keep your shirts free from arm pit stains.
One of these days, I wish they would try to sucker punch the wrong person--someone who is able to fight back. Any legal experts know what the maximum allowable response to an attack such as this is?
Can we have Obama call these black people out? There's tons of random killing of police officers by black men. Also police are killed by blacks on the job a good amount, and with all these black people killing these officers randomly now, I bet just about/more police have been killed than the "sometimes innocent" black people. Are they happy now that they kill more than they are killed(or close to it)?
