I know this probably doesn't make a huge difference and is subjective but which part of Bay Ridge do you think is more fun (I'm using subway stops as my guide):

A. next to 77th St
B. next to Bay Ridge Ave.
C. next to 86th St
D. next to Bay Ridge Ave and 95th St.

What do you mean by fun?

You have bars and restaurants all along third avenue. Less on fifth. Both avenues are commercial. It is very easy to walk the neighborhood.

On and around 86th is a lot of shopping.

Next to Bay Ridge Ave and 95th? Bay Ridge Ave. = 69th Street. Bay Ridge Parkway = 75th Street. 95th Street is the end of the R line and not connected to Bay Ridge Ave.

For a nice view you can get off on Bay Ridge Avenue and walk down to the pier on Shore Road. If you're not in the mood to walk, you can take the B9/B64. You can walk all along the water or you can head over to the park.

I would get off at 86th for sure, as the intersection of 86th and 4th is the main hub in the neighborhood and puts you in a central location. You can walk south toward the bridge or north from there and find lots of bars and restaurants on 3rd and 5th Avenues. Best stretch is between 80th and 90th on both avenues. The 80s streets on 3rd avenue have a lot to offer. Very nice area in general. Bay Ridge, in my opinion, is one the best parts of NYC.
