Hi All. Can anyone tell me which subway stations in northern Manhattan have ample parking? I will be coming into the city from CT and would like to park at a (safe) northern terminus and take the subway in. Thanks!

You're better off parking in the NorthEast Bronx if you are coming from Connecticut

Come down I-95 and exit at Pelham Parkway East
Go straight down Pelham Parkway East until Williamsbridge Road and make a right turn. Subway stop is right there, small white building.
The entire area around this subway stop is quiet, residential and very safe with ample on-street parking. Little to no crime here, probably safer than anywhere in upper manhattan. Very boring neighborhood which is a good thing.

Here is the stop on google maps:

Take the 5 Dyre Line down to the city

I've wondered driving up form the Meritt or I-95 in New England whether I'd better off taking a MetroNorth from Westchester (Pelham?) or a northeast Bronx subway. MetroNorth seems simpler but more expensive.

I don't know about simpler, but I think MetroNorth would probably be faster than the subway. Certainly the price is higher.

There's a garage on the SW corner of Broadway and 192nd that looks safe to me. I think they charge $10/day but I've never used it myself. Not sure how many spaces they have. It is a block away from the A at 190th and walking distance from the 1 at 191st (assuming you aren't carrying anything too heavy).
