You should be hearing from them within a few weeks for additional paperwork or to sign the files before sending to HPD. They will let you know before they send it out . Whats your log number ? Dont post the full number, end it with an x like 2,xxx .

I have emailed them some additional paperwork about a few weeks ago. I believe I signed the files at the interview. When did you sign them? Oh, I didn't know that they will let you know before sending them! How long after they send them, did you hear from them?

They usually contact by phone.
If the files you sign have an apartment number on top then that means it's going to be sent to HPD and that they've assigned you a unit . First you need to pass Breaking grounds compliance dept.

So you select a unit before getting approved by HPD...?

I see, no I didn't sign anything with an apt number on it. So that would be done in person. How many interviews did you have?
After the interview plus calls for any follow-up documents, if they think you are eligible, then you will be called by a different person when they are getting your file ready to send to HPD. With that person you just sign papers verifying everything, and then you wait and wait to hear back whether you were approved by HPD. Some of us have even been shown an apartment, and yet are still waiting to hear whether approved by HPD. Others have been approved by HPD yet waiting for a lease. Best of luck.
