As far as i know they are suppose to be starting very soon. I was told that we would be getting letters this week regarding closing.

Today I spoke to Beth Sloan at Procida. She said that they expect to have the C of O in hand this week. She also said, closing letters will be sent out within the next 2 weeks. I personally, am soooo tired of the run around. Everytime I speak to her, she says the C of O will be there in a week or 2. I guess we just have to wait and see.

The building across the street that procida is putting up will have tenants before The Orion. I'm not sure why they have not just sent letters to all of us telling us what's really going on. They are handling this pretty badly. We have not received a letter from them in months. Thats bad business. Beth Sloan lies all the time, You can't trust anything she says.
I would prefer them just telling us that closing will start in August or September, so we could plan for it.

WE ARE HAPPY TO REPORT WE EXPECT TO CLOSE AND HAVE YOU MOVE INTO YOUR NEW HOME WITHIN THE NEXT 45-60 DAYS. THAT MEANT IN JUNE WE SHOULD HAVE CLOSED. WE ARE IN JULY, NO LETTER NO CLOSING DATE, JUST A LOT OF BS FROM BETH SLOAN.

I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO LOG ONTO THE BUILDING DEPT WEB SITE TO SEE HOW FAR LONG WE ARE IN GETTING THE C OF O.

Is there any free legal council out there to help the people under contract at the orion. We need to get through the bs. Please advise. Every time i call my attorney for anything he wants money, lol. Please help first time home buyer. People will always find away to mess up a great moment. This shouldn't be so hard.

My husband and I are in contract with the Orion as well and are tired of the run around. I've emailed Christine every week, and although she has responded quickly, it's the same story. I will definately contact my attorney and see what we can do. I think we all need to let Procida know we expect better, and need to know truthfully when we can expect to close. We at least deserve something in writing. I wonder whether the people who moved into the condominums in Harlem had this same problem......................... I don't think so.
